The Challenge coin has deep roots in both the military and sea going services. While also being popular in the EDC community. Being that I am a member of all three it was only a matter of time before I made some coins of my own.
These coins are made in house, original artwork, deep laser engraved into solid brass. They are big at 2" in diameter, nearly 1/4" thick, and weigh in at 3.2oz. The sides have diagonal knurling.
Because these were made by me and were not produced by a coin company, they are not all perfect, some are a little off center, and size can very slightly.
I did not number the coins because I did not want to interfere with the artwork. However, I only made 35 of these total.
There are three unique versions, all of which feature the Sparrow Knife Co. banner and wings on one side.
