MEET YOUR MAKER

Knives, to me, transcend mere utility; they embody an art form. Throughout history, mankind has adorned edged tools with elegance – from the obsidian knives of American Natives to the ornate swords of Bronze Age Europeans, and the refined blades of the 12th century Samurai. These tools, decorated symbols of pride and strength inspire my craft.

My name is Greg Schob, residing on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi with my beautiful wife and son. Commencing my knife-making journey in 2017 during my time active duty in the US Coast Guard, what started as a hobby swiftly transformed into a passionate pursuit. Upon retiring from the Coast Guard in 2023, the decision to turn my obsession into a full-time career became crystal clear. Today, I strive to uphold the tradition of crafting modern tools with a blend of style and purpose.

Hey, I’m Lee! I’ve been married to Greg for over 18 years, so I’ve admired him since before he was cool! Lol Joking aside, I am pretty awestruck when I look at this full-fledged machine shop that pays our bills, that started with just an idea and a Harbor Freight grinder in a tiny garage some years ago. Greg invited me to come with him to exhibit at one of his first Blade Shows, and I was absolutely blown away by not just the massive size and scope of the show, but most of all the community! There is a level of kinship and camaraderie amongst not just the other makers but also the collectors, enthusiasts, and the EDC community in general that we just don’t get anywhere else. I haven’t missed a show since, and to this day I am blown away every time. This year, I left my other gig as a dental hygienist to join Greg full-time and help with the ever-growing list of behind the scenes stuff that keeps this train rolling. I’ve been dusting off some old skills, like using a sewing machine, and learning some new ones as well, like leatherwork! I’m pleased and grateful to be onboard, and I look forward to seeing what we can do this year running on all cylinders. Easter egg frist person who emails me "tomatoes are gross" gets a free coin 24APR24
