Production Strix timeline update

For everyone patiently (or impatiently, if you're like me) waiting on the production Strix to ship, a slight adjustment to the timeline is needed.

When we opened this run, we gave you an estimate of about six months. Based on our past experiences that timeline has always been solid, and we felt confident sharing it with you. As we’re nearing the end of that window, we want to let you know we’ve hit a few logistical snags with some of the more exotic, hard to get materials in the lineup. This has been our largest run of the Strix to date, and although most of the knives are boxed and ready to go, we need a little more time to finish up the ones with damascus and mokume. Our focus will always be on delivering the best quality product, and not hitting a time deadline. 

The updated estimate is an additional month, and we now expect preorders to be ready to ship by the end of January 2026.

We know the delay is frustrating—especially when you’ve paid far in advance—and we’re really sorry for the extra wait. 

You chose this preorder because you care about design, execution, and quality—and we believe this approach aligns with exactly that. We will keep you posted as the final units wrap up and we move into shipping.
